Fitbit closes its business!

Fitbit, a company owned by Google, has announced the official cessation of product sales in more than 30 countries around the world. The consumer electronics and fitness company informed the matter in a statement reported News Tech Times.

The new decision will have a negative impact on the markets of Asia, Europe and Latin America. Among European countries, customers in Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Slovakia cannot buy Fitbit products. In addition, sales have been stopped in Mexico and Latin America.

Fitbit Premium service has already been discontinued in countries. However, according to NineTwoFiveGoogle, the Fitbit Charge 6 is still available for purchase in Portugal using the Google Store.

There is no official information regarding when the product has been discontinued. Google also stopped renewing Fitbit Premium memberships in early August. The sale of products has also been stopped in various Asian countries including Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines.
